Lord Koragajja backfires?

Lord Koragajja is a form of Lord Shiva

His temple is in Mangalore (Mangaluru) 

It is experience of spiritual people that God's do respond.

Past experiences heard

1) Thieves looted Shani temple. All became blind or get leprosy, something like that. All villagers took it as a miracle. Removed doors from their houses as they trusted Lord of Saturn planet or Lord of Saturday. Even today houses observed in Shinganapur without doors. 

2) Few thieves at Malbai Ganga or someone did a theft. All became blind

Conclusion - Places of pilgrimage may be resting place (Samadhi) of super spirits and village gods. So those standing in line in temple to visit God's statue are not fools. They are intelligent. Because Gods or Dieties respond seems correct. 

Scriptures talks about Varad Shakti in temple statues. It has an ability to fulfill wishes just like Kalpvriksh or well in which coin is thrown etc.
